Taste Your Words

A new teaching series from Kisha Gallagher on the tongue is now available at MyRevivetv.com, called “Taste Your Words.” The New Year for Months (Aviv/Nisan) is just days away, and its sense is speech. There is no better time of the year to examine one’s words than right now, at the beginning of the festival cycle. You can subscribe to MyReviveTv.com for free to hear this new five part series.

Description:

Did you know that the average person speaks around 16,000 words a day? That’s about 6 million words a year! Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it, will eat its fruit.” Our words matter greatly; and, in today’s world, we have the capacity to send them across the globe in a heartbeat. Are we paying attention to those flying words? According to James, no one can tame the tongue; and yet, that’s exactly what he and other passages of the Bible challenges one to do. In this series, issues of the tongue will be examined in light of Scripture, along with tools and resources to help one master their unruly member.
