Shalom, and thanks for visiting Grace in Torah. My hope is that after reading some of my articles, you too, will begin to see that the Torah of G-d is full of His grace. A person’s perspective of the Torah is rooted in their heart and core beliefs. I have come to the understanding that a man or woman who desires to please G-d for the reason of love will view His Word, His Torah, as loving instructions. But, a person with an attitude of fear or a with a desire to appease the appetites of their flesh, will view the Torah as rigid, cold law.
If you are a fellow sojourner or a thoughtful seeker, you will find many treasures here, some old and some new. I encourage you to dig deep into the Word and mine these out for yourself. For in the end, our walk or lack thereof with the Master will be revealed. My personal walk has been enriched immensely by consistent digging in the Word of Truth. It is this process that has sustained me in dry and hard places. Sometimes we must dig deep into the earth to find the water necessary for life, and other times the flow is rather close to the surface. What matters is one’s willingness to keep thrusting the shovel into the ground; by doing so, the promise is to never thirst again.
This website contains the musings of a Torah pursuant lover of Mashiach (Messiah). Here a little, there a little would describe the pages you will find on Grace in Torah. My hope is that the reader will be inspired to walk as Mashiach (Messiah) walked, and to know that the Creator’s commandments are not too hard. His yoke is easy and light. (Dt. 30:11)

What a great resource. I was reading your commentary on the role of women in the book of Proverbs and am interested to find out more (especially on the role of the Holy Spirit in Proverbs 31).
Would you happen to have any books you could recommend which dive into a deeper study of the Holy Spirit and the book of Proverbs (e.g. I happen to be of the view that Proverbs 8 is about the Holy Spirit, and not necessarily the Messiah, as it now commonly held in evangelical circles)? And whether you have any book recommendations where the study of Proverbs is deeply rooted in the Hebrew language? Thank you and Shalom.

In Dr. Garr’s book, God and Women, there are a couple of chapters devoted to “Wisdom” that you may find interesting. As to your second paragraph, I have to say that my years of studying the difference in Hebraic and Greek thought have steered me away from an “either/or” type of thinking. Greek (western) thought is very black and white and logic based; whereas, Hebraic thought is broader and based in block logic. In other words, there are many facets to the Book of Proverbs. One doesn’t have to be “wrong” in order for the other to be “right”.
The Oneness of God means the that Messiah and the Holy Spirit are also echad (One). I highly recommend the Creation Gospel, workbook 1, by Dr. Hollisa Alewine to help you with the Hebraic understanding of not only the Spirit in the Book of Proverbs, but how the Spirit of God as Wisdom worked throughout creation week and beyond. This workbook requires a lot from you, but I promise it is worth the effort. 🙂 I hope this helps.

I’m grateful for this teaching! I’ve got questions concerning angels and the seven spirits as they relate to the pastors. Is there a resource you have or is there a website. I just finished your Role of Women study which led me to your teaching “Taste your Words” on ReviveTV, and I just wanted to say that your teachings have encouraged me in more ways than you can imagine. I am always amazed (may not be the right word) at the timing and prompting of what the Lord has to teach us. I will be going thru the Role of Women again because theres SO MUCH to learn and look forward to reading your other posts. I’m also excited to hear you’ll be studying the Creation Gospel – it’s a game changer. Be sure to watch her videos with the workbook or reach out to her about working with a trainer near your area. You’ll get ten times more out of the study that way.

Hi Kisha, A friend – JP -sent me Mark of the Beast. It is very well presented and very important material. Our intercessory prayer group has been praying for those who can present the Word in such a clear, anointed way that others can hook into it and be drawn to it – especially children. There is a real void of good children’s material. If you know of any real good children’s stories, books that teach Biblical values and torah instructions, I would be very interested. I have added you in my prayers regarding this. I met you in Israel at BTP. I know that the Word itself is our best teacher…but there are Spirit filled ways to make it come alive.

Hello I am a Messianic believer in Yeshua Ha Meshiach. I recently did a study on the Moedim feasts of Yahavah that have to do with Gematria. I am a true novice researcher but,I would like to use a few of the number studies you have published here on Graceintorah. I remember a study on numerology in Torah by Alissa Alewine (I hope I didn’t destroy her name) many years ago. I am going to use this info to put together a report for my local assembly with your permission.
I am on WordPress also and my site is theaccidentalbeliever.com What intrigued me the most is that while studying Torah I was wondering why such importance on numbers and why should that concern us, and that’s what initially piqued my interest.
